  Astaxanthin is a red pigment compound which has a strong antioxidant capacity. It can be derived form bacteria, microalgae, and yeasts, but the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis is the most promising source for its industrial biological production. ☆Feature 1: Excellent Cold Water Solubility. ☆Feature 2: Nearly Odorless. The level of volatile constituents of Astaxanthin Oleoresin-S is significantly lower than Astaxanthin Oleoresin.
